Fund Raising
In order to achieve our goals we are always identifying ways to raise necessary funds to implement our mission statement.
Here are a few of the ways we are Fund Raising:
OBX Sandbar 5k - The Outer Banks only Beach Run/Ocean Swim/Beach Run is set on the wide, flat sands in front of the historic "Old Station" public bath house in Kitty Hawk.
The OBX Marathon- The marathon will take place on Veterans Day Weekend on Sunday, November 9th, 2008.
Texas Hold'em- The Outer Banks Brewing Station hosted a successful Season of Poker to raise money for our foundation.
Chowder "Cookoff"- Local Chefs serving up great chowder for a great cause.
Letter from the Foundation Honorariums & Memorials - Donations can be made in "Memory of" or in "Honor of" special people. All gifts will be placed in the The Outer Banks Relief Foundation Book of Remembrance. A letter will be mailed to the person being memorialized and/or the person(s) being honored.
