Kitty Hawk, NC. Members of the OBX Pirates Parrot Head Club gathered at their monthly meeting at Hurricane Mo’s on December 6th. The meeting began with their annual check presentation the Outer Banks Relief Foundation. The purpose of the OBX Parrot Head Club is to bring Parrot Heads of the Outer Banks in North Carolina together for social, charitable, and educational purposes, and to promote the general welfare of the community. Their mission statement is “We Party with a Purpose” and support local charities.
“The Relief Foundation is honored by the caring spirit of this fun-loving, committed group of people who year after year continue to support our mission. This year’s $1,000 donation will go a long way in helping someone living or working in our community who is struggling through no fault of their own as a result of a debilitating medical condition.” Said Deb MacDonald.
