Old Christmas is the celebration of The Twelve Days of Christmas from Christmas Day to The Epiphany, The Twelfth Day, the Feast of Lights or the Manifestation of Christ to the Gentiles. The time honored Old Christmas traditions which date back to our English heritage of the Yule log, wassail, and pea cake will be a part of our Old Christmas celebration.
Showing the spirit with which the Outer Banks Relief Foundation, Inc. was founded, we proudly announce that in 2013 we will continue to take a page from our neighbors in Rodanthe on Hatteras Island and embark on the time honored tradition of celebrating Old Christmas on the Outer Banks! Stay tuned for the 2013 calendar of events coming soon!
