“The outpouring of love from our community was simply amazing. After hearing of my breast cancer diagnosis, the Outer Banks Relief Foundation reached out to me. The funds that the Relief Foundation provided helped my husband Charles and me focus on curing my cancer rather than constantly worrying about covering our family expenses.”

We are in the midst of a fundraising challenge

IMPACT OBX is a fundraising campaign with the goal of raising $1 million in pledges to fund our mission.

Our campaign team is, left to right, Susan Clissold, Chairman Scott Brown, Jane Webster, Patty McKenna, John Gillam, Jo Whitehead, Tess Judge and, not pictured, Monica Thibodeau, Heather Sakers and Mary Mason.

Over the past 18 months the campaign team has met with 122 members of our community.

And the community response has been overwhlemingly positive and inspiring!

72 Outer Banks residents and instutions have made pledges toward relief funding for locals facing the emotional, physical and financial strain of medical crises and other tragedies.

Thanks to the generosity of these donors, we have raised $960,000 thus far! We are so close to our goal.

Your donation now will be matched dollar for dollar and help us surpass that goal.

The Millis Family Fund will match every dollar raised for the

IMPACT OBX Campaign up to $125,000.

 By choosing
